Country-specific documents

For some countries, we often request documentation in addition to what we generally require. This can vary depending on what education level you have. Find out what applies by reading the information for your country of study.

UHR is not currently contacting Afghanistan to confirm the authenticity of education documents. This means that you can still submit an application for recognition but we may not be able to provide you with an assessment. If you are submitting an application, you must attach scanned color copies of your educational documents.

It’s impossible for us to say in advance which qualifications we can assess, but you can use our Qualifications Assessment Tool to download a document that describes your previous education.

Using the Qualifications Assessment Tool, you can get a direct response to what your qualifications compare to in the Swedish education system. You can use this assessment, together with your education documents, when applying for a job. You can find UHR’s assessment tool at uhr.se/en/qualifications-assessment-tool/

If you have a higher education qualification from Australia, your university must submit the following documents via My eQuals:

UHR prefers to receive electronic education documents sent directly from the university as they are more secure and the fast delivery time speeds up the processing of your application.

If your university is unable to send us your documents electronically, please contact us by email and let us know. In some cases, UHR can also accept scanned and paper copies.
