How we work with systems administration and operations
One of the tasks of The Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR) is the administration and development of IT systems, as well as the management of their operations.
Administration
At UHR, we've developed well-proven working methods in the area of system administration. Our methods are built on PM3, a maintenance management model. We ensure customer benefit and quality through efficiency management and agile methods, focusing on user needs. We provide expertise in administrative management, requirements management, pilot studies, usability, accessibility and testing.
System development
We work in an agile way and have expertise in both Java and .Net. We have long-documented experience in the ordering of system development services from suppliers and know the importance of good cooperation, clear and concise ordering, follow-up, and continual development of our partnership with suppliers.
Operations
We have overall responsibility for the operations of the systems we administer.
